I have been making my research about upgrading a receiver & I have a fair idea about firmware & softcams , but what I could not find is my loader , which is EmUpgrade (I have checked all links that I have encountered) ,and is it true that you need a com port to connect to a receiver ?? (I have only USB on my laptop). thanx | ||

Thanx for your prompt reply , I have already the serial 9 pin to USB adaptor + null modem which I have connected to my receiver & the USB end to laptop ,but it did not work & I got an error message saying : error ....(forgot the error no.) wrong port This message was displayed thru EmUpgrade which I have located yesterday on an italian web page but I have the feeling that it is not working properly. What do you think? should I download EmUpgrade from another site ? or there is something wrong with my connection? Thanx again | ||
