My System: Technosat
I need help on how to receive Mezzo channel

Hi All,

I have just recently moved to Qatar, and I can no longer watch my favorite channel :Mezzo, a French classical satellite channel, which is brocasted through Hotbird.

I email Mezzo, apparently it has became a pay channel with a bunch of other channels I don't like, and they only take a full package subscription for lots of money.

People told me that I can actually patch the channel for viewing, but I don't know anything about Patching!

Please advise me what equipment I need for patching and how to Patch.

My system is basic: Disc+LNB+Technosat receiver irdeto embedded with one card slot . I have a PC.
Can I patch with with this receiver? or I need extra equipment?

Hope to have your comment and assistance.

Best regards,

Its part of the TPS pay package and is currently unavailable to patches.

You want = you pay for it

Please try to post in an appropriate section - moved to receiver software.

OK on 12247H Globecast with a suitable patch.

No, T-systems package on 12245H (not 12247, that's what my TD was showing).
I've always been able to clear this channel with various files on Dragon, TD etc.
Don't know about Technomate, must be openable with a patch. Maybe a Technomatey person can confirm.

Mezzo on 12245H has remained open through the recent TPS & s2 nano changes. I reckon it's open on both via1 & s2 (old nano on s2) but I can no longer check this quickly.
