Question Astra 8000 Update

Hi,

i'm the first time here...

My Name is Roland
i live in Hurghada, Egypt


my Problem:

i tried to update my Receiver Astra 8000 (ID E108, HW 7.00, SW 2.77.1) with the new Software (also with ID124 + ID125), but i always get the message
'model ID is not matched'
Also on the receiver is displayed Er02
i downloaded the "clean1.bin" first!
what can i do now?

i can't look TV!

please help me

use emedit v2.25

Here's snappy guide on how to use it:

First check details of your receiver. Go into the System Information -> CI and note Model ID, Hardware Version and Software version.


Open EmEdit and change values of the "Receiver data" window in "Options" section. Once filled correctly press SAVE to save values into registry. If you want EmEdit to remember the data simply tick the field next to "Always use personalised data" in "Various" area of the window. Connect your receiver to serial port of your PC with Null Modem Cable and select corresponding port number in EmEdit.

Now click on "Serial" section and hit "reset receiver" and after then load the firmware

but it dont work also

i get the same Diplay-Error (E02)


EmEdit shows Error during upload

it seems to be while sending the Header

now i was going to the dealer,
we connected the receivers and transfered the Software


and it works
