Hi All,

After two years I decided to buy a CAM module for my LOGIX 6000CI receiver so I spent a lot of time to find the CAMs and software upgrades for LGi LOGIX 6000 CI Receiver,

As far as I got, LOGIX is a local brand of LG international inside Korea , and I have not found any official website to support LOGIX receivers,A few number of these receivers have been distributed inside Iran and UAE and there is poor support and service for them as they are a minority of the receiver market share at these regions.

This Brand has been distributed in Europe and Middle East by different distributers,

LOGIX receivers are promoted inside Spain by TodoSatellite.com and you can find their LOGIX page at the following aaddress:

May be you can find the software upgrades contacting the spanish support service,

Also I found that LOGIX receivers are a branded version of Emtech Receivers,

LOGIX 6000 CI is a clone of Emtech 200 and you can find the Emtech 200 information and software utilities and upgrades via http://www.emtech.it at the following address:

http://www.emtech.it/support.html

Also www.emtechnic.com promotes Emtech Receivers.

This Receiver is also branded and distributed under JEPSSEN name and you can find the LOGIX 6000CI clone as JEPSSEN 4000 at this adddress:

GBSAT.COM also promotes the receivers as GBSAT receivers or JEPSSEN,

The Other brand in french is XSAT 375 Receiver or DS CDTV 375, you can find the utilities and software upgrades at the following address:

http://xsat.rtfm.be (look for CDTV 375 )

All the binary files and utilities are alike but vendor IDs change, I have not personally checked for their compatibility with LOGIX 6000 CI,

I would be thankful if you add any other informative post to this thread, so that LOGIX 6000CI owners can find the appropriate CAM modules and Software upgrades as easy as possible,

You can Use Firmware of Starsat 200CI for upgrading your receiver(Logix 6000ci). It is checked and it works.

1_ go to www.satsw.com and download the latest patch for starsat 200 ci
2_ download EMUpgrade in www.satsw.com. It is loader that will be used to upload your downloaded patch to receiver.
3_ connect your receiver to PC by RS232 Cable.
4_ download clean binary file from satsw.com and upload it to your receiver
5_ now upload patch of starsat 200 ci to your receiver.

How to upload file?
1_ select download
2_ browse downloaded file and open it
3_ unplog and plog power of your receiver

*** Your receiver must be on standby!

I've tried to connect the receaver to the camputer but it was not successful.
