Question Strong 4375 upgrade

Hi there,
I have a Strong 4375 which I would like to upgrade, a process I have not done for a couple of years.
The problem is I cannot remember the key sequence you need to use when restarting the box to bring it up in update mode. I cannot find this info in the manual or on the website so I guess I will have to admit to my weakness and throw myself at the mercy of the board ;-)

Thanks in advance
Alex

I believe you actually meant www.strongsat.com

Please see if you can post information on this board in English, it does make useful advice given available to many more viewers

The 4375 has a specific loader programme that has to be installed on the laptop / PC, and it is this that forces the receiver once powered up , into upgrade mode. Channel data and parameters can be stored and edited on the computer, saving you hassle and time after masterclearing the machine (which is necessary for the upgrade to be successful)

Some hardware modifcations are necessary for the 4375 when used with certain CAMs

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness"

Thanks Channel Hopper.
I seem to remember that you certainly need the software (STREdit) which I have but to access the receiver, you had to unplug it then start it up holding down the menu button or something like that. Anyway, I'll give it another go and see how I do.

Cheers
Alex
