Qmax advice needed please

Hi guys,
I'm planning to buy a new decoder, and I have a valid Irdeto2 card.
so ppl told me that there's a nre decoder (Qmax) that accepts my card and also opens some encrypted channels on HotBird, is that true?
and if it is, which channels does it open?.
