I see a number of post where people are changing to Enigma 2 but what is Enigma 2 and what benefits would l have on an IP 9000HD. I currently have latest NLB image installed | ||

My System: AB IPBox 900HD, 80cm dish on rotator + Fortec Star Beta on a fixed dish | I would also like to know what all the fuss is about with Enigma. I suppose the only was to really find out is to install it. For some reason, my 900HD cam with an Enigma manual in german??? I can make some sense of it and it look like a pretty good system. At the moment both Enigma 1 and 2 are pretty unstable on these boxes. I am going to wait a few months to see if it becomes more reliable. My System: DM 600-S, AB IPBox 9000HD, Moteck SG2100, Fracarro Penta 85 dish, + some puters | Enigma2 is a recoded version of Enigma, its been written in a different programing language and is supposed to be more stable/efficient code. The main benefit from a users perspective seem to be that there are fancier skins etc available. More info here. Enigma 1 & 2? | ||

My System: 1.2M, & 55cm Gregorian Dish`s, 1.8m Precision dish Jaeger 1224 H-H motor.Dreambox 800, Vbox-II. SS2 Card. | You will need Enigma 2 for the twin tuners of your ip9000 for a start. Enigma 2 is defiantly more stable, as the dreambox 7025 & 800 both use it. There far more stable that the 7000 and Enigma 1!  | ||
