Analogue clocks seen on satellite channels

Retro technology support for Valve Radios, Betamax, Philips 2020, Crystal sets, ZX Spectum, vinyl versus CD, in fact anything not current.

Cool Analogue clocks seen on satellite channels

Didnt really know where to put this one, but analogue clocks are pretty retro

Though it might be nice to have some pics of analogue clocks seen on satellite channels. They are a rare sight on British TV these days

So first up is Als&t to be found on 16E - complete with blatant advertising!

More will be added occasionally when Ive found my screencaps or when new ones appear!

Not exactly on TV, but if you go to the bbc's website, on the top right corner, they have a Flash recreation of the old clock they used before digital graphics came along...

Shame they don't use it on TV cos it's cool...

Cool, I had a BBC1 clock like one in the list, but slightly different, as a screensaver for a while, but I don't have screensavers any more, wastes resources in Windows...

Bit of a cheat as its a feed countdown cue clock, but its a one off for the Dublin Arthurs Day Guinness 250 celebrations so its worth recording for posterity.

Is it me or does that logo look like someone sticking their middle finger up?

This is something a bit different - It was on CCTV4 & 9 on New Years Eve 2003 during their end of year variety show.

The folks danced around the clockface for the last minute of the year. It was incredibly effective and a very simple idea

Star TV Ukraine on 5E has this one as part of its logo! The logo changes every few seconds and this one comes up once a minute or so.
