My System: Covering 30W-105.5E range, two motors, C and Ku band. Various receivers/cards/cams/etc.

There's an error in BADR Ku band coverage map. While for my region it says 120cm dish, I can receive all channels by using 60cm dish.

There are errors on loads of maps - Astra 2D shouldnt be available anywhere outside northwestern Europe but we know thats a big fallacy

Yes I know about errors, but what is purpose of this section then? I thought coverage maps were created based on user reports.

The footprint maps are the predicted or official coverage area as provided by the satellite operating companies.

Its a reference library of whats likely to be available in your area and at what signal strengths.

dishpointer.com

Enter location and it gives list of satellites and dish size; while it may not be 100% accurate, it is a decent starting guide.
