Link for the African spot beam _http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/sirius4_afr.html There are reports that some transponders on this beam are active (maybe periodically) and some hobbyists report receiving some channels from it in West Africa. | ||

My System: Sky; Raven 90 multi-LNB 1W, 7E, 9E, 13E 16E, 19E; 1m Orbital dish on Moteck SG2100 motor; Technomate 1500, Phoenix Apollo and Kathrein (analogue) etc etc Receivers | The beam was first observed in July this year with activity suspected on 12604 V 27500. Reported in the past few days is STV 1 and 2 on 12580v 4064; also Equinoxe but I don't immediately have transponder details; might be the same as the STVs. | ||

USB Stick for DTT (But no transmissions in Cape Town yet!!!) | Hi from Cape Town SA. Thanks for the info. I will try the freqs as soon as I can and let you know. Things in this part of the world have been a bit dead for a while. No new developments here. A new consortium was awarded a licence a number of months ago but as usual nothing has happened. | ||
