Does anyone know if there is a footprint for Telecom 2D at 7.8°west (Europe Ku band)? The footprint in Lygnsat is obviously wrong and must date from a few years ago. This satellite is not listed the Analoguesat complete list of footprint maps. I know this satellite is in inclined orbit - this thread is about the footprint - NOT how to receive inclined orbit satellites.

| That's the same footprint map that Lyngsat has, and is no longer accurate. Signals are far weaker than indicated on the old footprint map and I presume that strength has deteriorated over the years. What I wondered is whether they publish updated footprints based on current conditions. | ||

Telecom 2D is an elderly satellte which is basically only used for feeds now so transmission coverage areas dont really matter any more for it - the downlink stations that pick the feeds up will have far bigger dishes than any hobbyist so deterioration of the signal will be of little consequence.
