Astra 5A 31.5E

Astra 5A is the new name for Sirius 2. She carries a pan European beam and a Central European spot beam

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Astra 5A suffered a major failure on January 16th 2008 and was immediately declared to be out of service

This is the 31.5E info sheet (pdf format) which has since been removed from the SES site, but I always squirrel things like this away - you never know when they will be useful!
