Formerly the Eurobird 9 satellite (and before that Hotbird 2), W48 provides coverage of Central Europe, Middle East and Central Asia, for broadcasting and multimedia services. W48 is currently operating in inclined orbit at 48° East. Shes got 4 footprints, 2 for the widebeam and 2 for the old Hotbird 2 superbeam | ||
