DFS Kopernikus 2 has been out of service for many years so thse maps are for historical interest only Launched in 1990 she spent over 10 years slotted at 28.5E until january 2001 when she was moved to 25.5E. In June 2001 she was sent to 39E, but was put out of service in September 2001. These maps are from her time at 28.5E. The third map is from a second source and shows just how poor the satellite coverage maps could be 10 years ago! The colour maps might look the same but they are subtely different - one is for 11GHz, the other for 12GHz  | ||
