Rover sdm2 help!!!

Hello I have a sdm2 it was working great had it for a good few year but its now has decided to go weird.

The screen has got one row of boxes from left to right and you can't see the sat info the boxes look the same as the bat contents but on the line where it should say "battery contents"

I have stripped the meter down to see if there was any dry solder joints but all appear OK

Anyone got any idea's

Thanks

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Sounds perhaps like a software problem, why not call Martin Turner Direct and ask them, they have some good techies there.
