Thanks

Bought a Garmin 250 widescreen at the weekend (just under £130)

Does everything I wanted, and the battery lasts about 12 hours as well which is a bonus.

Now all I need to do is find a way of connecting the DVD player and a tuner.

Talking Bargain gps

Suggest you browse e-bay (.com - not .co.uk - same username & password)
Prices from "unknown" units with the right specs can be AMAZING - mostly from China / Hong Kong
Even worth risking it on the absolutely dirt cheap bids.

I'm happy with my Navigo widescreen from ebuyer - loads of support on ebuyer forum and others like PC Tailor - easy enough to "hack" - mine runs quite a few GPS progs - cheap and cheerful -well recommended! Recent models a bit more robust than the early ones but at the price I'm certainly not complaining!

I married Miss Right. I just didn’t realise her first name was always.
