Navigo?

Any one used the Navigo satnav? It is hackable to windows CE,

so that it will run other software from Tom Tom to igo8, even play MP3/4`s.

There are V2 and widescreen out now.

but the menu`s are in chinease!

My System: Channel Master 1.2m motorised, V Box, Technomate 1500ci.

Yes I've got one, it's excellent for the price. I've had mine since the beginning of the year, it's the 4:3 version which I think has now been superceded by a newer model. Mine can do everything you say.

I'm at work and heading away later but back home tomorrow night. I can drop you a PM with some details on Sunday, when I get to my laptop at home.

Recommended:-

A reasonable price UK SatNav with Europe road maps

and menus are in English - worth a rummage on Ebuyer and PC Tailor forums.

I have now got igo8, miomap, Tom Tom. Along with games and a few other apps, the Navigo is a great little satnav

My System: 2600c1

Navigo - 4.3" Widescreen looks like a really good deal.
I have not dipped my toes into the GPS waters yet, but this could nudge me into getting one.

My System: Sky; Raven 90 multi-LNB 1W, 7E, 9E, 13E 16E, 19E; 1m Orbital dish on Moteck SG2100 motor; Technomate 1500, Phoenix Apollo and Kathrein (analogue) etc etc Receivers

A cheap way to have a fairly decent satnav currently: if you have a Nokia smartphone, then go into Nokia shop and buy their GPS receiver (3LDW or summat like that); it is currently selling for £20 (sale) and comes with free Nokia maps satnav subscription (UK & Europe) for 3 years.

My System: Dreambox 7025, Dreambox 500s, Technomate 6900 Super, Foxsat HD Freesat, 90Cm and 1.2 CM

Than unit has the same carcass as my GoPal which I bought from Lidl or Aldi, they want money for the map updates and it is cheaper to buy a new one, the UK shop, where you buy the maps, is shut for an update, i have heard that one before.

Best regards Wez

Go to the download section (you have to register) of "thepctailor.com" website. All the guides, maps etc.. are there. It is very easy to do.
