TomTom Go 500 Map problem.

Hi M8s,

I have just bought a TomTom Go 500 and found some of the streets are missing in the map. Is it old map or something else?

I am using the original software that came with it in SD card.

What is the solution? Please help!

Your help will be much appreciated.

There is a loader program to load the speed cameras into your TOM TOM,for example I am using POIs loader to load my Garmin.

I have a NUVI 310 and POI loader but am NOT sure what POI to load; any suggestions plz? Another query is whether I can put the maps from my NUVI 310(GCC MAP) and give it to someone who can put it on SD card and use it on his device (If it can be done, I'll upload my maps here so our members could use it!)

Regards.

The 500 is about 3 years old, so unless it was upgraded the maps will be three years old - I've got exactly the same model which I bought way back!

You can upgrade the maps at TomTom's website for a fee. My current maps are V710.1571
