My System: Nova S2 Card Fixed Dish @ 28E
Nova-HD-S2

I have a nova hd s2 which is currently connected to a minidish and i am getting the freesat channels

i am thinking of getting a new dish with a diseqc motor to put up as well
i would like to know if anyone has got this card working with controlling a disecq motor as officially it only supports 1.0, on the hauppauge support forum they say that if you try this it could blow the board, the lnb or both and i don't want to do that.

i was thinking that if the board couldn't supply enough power for the motor and the lnb at the same time then would it be possible to use a 4 way diseqc switch, have one connected to just the motor, one connected to the new lnb and then one connected to the current lnb on the minidish

i've done a lot of searching and can't seem to find an answer so any help would be appreciated

Thanks.

Phil.
