New Freesat HD PC advice needed

Hi,

I am about to build a new Media PC for use with Freesat HD.

I intend to use mediaportal as the tv viewing software and i only want to view the normal Freesat and Freesat HD channels.

My current plans are to use an nvidia 8200 integrated motherboard and an AMD 4850e processor with a pair of hauppage DVB-s2 cards, will this system be powerful enough to display 720p hd?

I do not currently have a dish installed what would you recommend? i live in the south of england and have a wall that faces directly south. is there any reason why i should not buy something like this?

Ebay 290229286129

it appears to offer everything i need for under £50?

Thanks for any advice you can offer

Hi,
Yes, the dish setup would be fine. You should be able to install it yourself too, if you have some DIY skills.

Sorry, I haven't a clue about media PC setups.
