LNB settings for QPH-031?

Hi all, I'm a bit confused on the LNB settings. On the box is says LO 10.75/11.25GHz and with my Mercury II receiver I use a setting of 10750 and it works great and have it locked down on Hispasat 30W.

I'm trying to get ProgDVB to work and have it hooked up the the other L port on the LNB. The default settings for ProgDVB are for a universal LNB and list:

LOF 1 9750 MHz
Switch 11700 MHz
LOF 2 10600 MHz

My questions are do I simply change both the LOF 1 and 2 to 10750?

What is the Switch frequency for?

Thanks for any help in clearing this up for me, SB

AFAIK, with this LNB, as you are using one linear port, you only have the one LO frequency (no switch frequency needed as with a Universal LNB) so clicking the custom box in the menu you enter 10750 and leave the other LOF boxes blank.

Try it anyway and see.

Hello!
i have also imported this lnb from usa last year for 150$ now the price is a little bit lower, there is a very big plastic wheater protection slider on my lnb,in europe we dont have this part!

the freqancy range is not the same on linar port,on circular it is a little bit higher, and difrent from orginal freqency, circulat signals on 36 e here very weak at the moment i can only reveive normal kuband signals without any problems

Update - looks like I need to give up on ProgDVB for now (SS2 driver issues that I have not been able to resolve).

Trying to get DVBViewer to work instead and used the LOF 1 of 10750 and the other two blank and I think I'm getting close to getting DVBViewer to work. I can get a good solid signal in the transponder status box but I have not been able to make any sense of the channels. I will try to find out more about running DVBViewer and try to make it work.

Got to run, SB
