My System: Dreambox 5620, 1m dish
Unhappy Htpc

Hi All,

I've finally replaced by broken dreambox with a media centre pc.

SPEC:
amd x2 4850e
gigabyte motherboard ga-ma78gm-s2h
Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 PCI card
2gb ram

Ive been trying to get dvbviewer pro to work with my diseqc 1.2 motor attached to my dish. I can't get it to move the dish. I can scan in 16E, which is the satellite it is currently facing and can watch the FTA channels ok on that but i really need it to drive the motor. Any ideas?

Also ive been looking around and am unsure as to whether the dvbviewer pro is the correct route to go down. Could i get some experienced advice as to which programme is better?

Thanks

Update:

I need a piece of software, free or not, that i can just watch hd and sd channels on, no need to record. It has to be able to control a motorised dish though.

Any suggestions would be welcomed please or links for me to read.

Cheers
