Does your PC meet the system requirements of the card?
Vista Premium?

Shouldn't have any problems scanning those channels in if you're correctly pointing to Astra 28E.

For ITV HD, enter the parameters shown here in your application (presumably DVBviewer, but will be similar for others).

You won't open Ch4 HD unless you have a CI module married to your Skystar HD2 in which to use an appropriate CAM and Sky card.

My System: FTE Max, Skystar2.3 and Skystar2.6, 2.2m Kinhuge Dish with Inverto LNB and Invacom ADF-120 feedhorn. Pace 1.3.25 and 80cm for Sky.

I've managed to decode HD feeds by reducing my screen quality to 16bit and reducing the screen resolution to 800x600.
Kind of defeats the object if a non HD signal is available though.

Yes, but perhaps you can record HD channels instead of SD

Re 2.3
It's a shame that Altx's blindscan tool doesn't work with later drivers.
Bxs will work (so long as you have Setup4PC running), but it doesn't have dynamic fine tuning (dependant on the S/R) like Altx's does.
You can also blindscan using DVBDream if you set up a transponder ini file without symbol rates like this:
1=10715,H,0
2=10727,H,0
3=10739,H,0
4=10751,H,0

I use DVBViewer Pro -

_http://www.dvbviewer.com/en/index.php

Works well with the Skystar.

Others to try are DVBDream, ProgDVB or AltDVB.

No problem with my DVBViewer Pro. You can receive Brit Shorts on that frequency I assume. Change the parameters as posted before, rename it ITV HD and click 'Add' to place it in your channel list on the left.

Showing ITV programming ATM.

Between advertised programmes, a station ident is usually shown (not always though).

Glad you've got it working OK.

A regular check of this site has forthcoming programme details -
