I'm sooo confused.....about this whole process.

Thanks to everyone for their responses to all of my idiotic questions.

I tried over the weekend to locate 1 West but I just can’t seem to find it. I can find Astra 19 & Hotbird 13 no problem but 1w has been a complete disaster.

Can you correct me in my thinking on my setup:

Location: Edinburgh
PC with DVB-Viewer
T-Rex CAM preloaded w/ Predator 3.68
Currently dish is pointing at Hotbird 13
Have tried Vplug.

Vplug

Tried Vplug on none NDS/Nagra 3 encrypted channels but nothing happened, will this software do anything for my on cryptoworks etc encrypted channels that show up when I click on them?

T-Rex
Tried to use my T-Rex cam, again left it on a encrypted channel (none NDS/Nagra 3) but still nothing. Is this what your supposed to do?

Am I supposed to input new keys to the CAM or Vplug found elsewhere on the net?

Is there a user guide/website on how to use T-Rex cam or software emu?

Is this CAM out of date/dead and if so is there another one I should buy?

Is Hotbird 13 and Astra 19 fully locked down for now?

I’m VERY confused about this whole process? I’m starting to wonder if I maybe jumped in to fast.

Again sorry for the rambling, Mickey
