What is skystar? I keep reading about it but don't know what it is, I have tried googling, but that hasn't help, except to redirect me to a turkish site that I didn't understand.

My System: Skymaster DCI9900 + PC/twinhan combination. 80cm dish. GBPVR with 2 DTTV cards +hauppauge Media MVP

Still available; Skystar1 has a common interface slot so that a conditional access module (CAM) can be used to allow viewing of encrypted channels by inserting the correct viewing card. Skystar2 is a cheaper version without the CI slot and suitable for free-to-air only. There is also a Skystar HD
