Help a noob build an HTPC

Hello everyone,

I was hoping someone could give me some pointers with regards to PCI components required to build an HTPC capable of decoding Sky transmissions(I have a legit subscription). I had a read through the forum and although I am comfortable building my own machine, my sat component knowledge is pitiful. I intend (or hope!) to use Media Center under Vista Ultimate , is this going to be possible? If so, what (pci, low profile if possible) components would you recommend?
