how to blind scan in skystar hd2?

hi friends,

I am using skystar hd2 with dvb viewer pro license version and dvb dream for watching channels.

I am looking for the software which can scan all available tps from the pointed satellite. is it possible to blind scan? please tell me if any software of utility available.

The only hardware blindscan card I am aware of is the Skystar V2.3. Its not made anymore and they are getting hard to find. You can do a blind scan with your card in Transedit but it is a software blind scan. You need to input the parameters and it is very very slow, not really useful if you are expecting blind scan like a stb delivers.

Yes, I do use it occasionally, but as the previous poster said, it is very slow, particularly if your parameter variations exceed a hundred or so - which will be the case if you want to scan a sizeable portion of the tuner range.

If using for feeds, best to try just one or two most-used feed SRs at a time to cut down the time taken. 27500 and 22000 SRs on the majority of broadcast satellites will keep you waiting until kingdom come.

yes, I have just tried. it is taking too much time.

any pci card available with blind scan inbuilt? or any good fta blind scan receiver?
