Hi there, I want to replace my cables with a sat. dish and do it using a PC. (I'm in Israel) I have looked around a little bit but I'm still very confused: - What are the important things I should be looking for when choosing a Satellite PC card? - Can anyone name some leading cards on the market ? (I prefer having a card with a pci connector or an external USB piece and not pci express) - Also, I'm looking for a card that will be supported by the main leading softwares available and that I will support codes and decoding encoded channels. Any help will be appreciated Thanks Gil

Welcome to the forum giluriel Not everyone has a PC card and some do not drop in everyday so I think the quickest way for you would be to read the threads in the PC card section. There are lots of opinions and ideas available for you to read digest, I would make sure you have one with a card reader built in as there is very little open with keys now so a subscription is really the only way to go
