My System: im building a system now and i want to hook sky up through but not sure about how to do it
help needed in setting up sky to pc please help

Hello im new here and im hoping to get some help on being able to watch and recored sky on my PC.

I am building a pc at the moment and from what i have gathered i need a tuner card this is the one that I have bought. Compro S350 digital satellite TV tuner card with analog video/audio capture

_http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/Components/TVTunerCards/Compro/S350.html

now i thought all i would have to do is attach the dish cabe to the tuner card and that would be it. but on reading other post and things over the net. Ikeep seeing talk about thinks called cams and and readers etc.

now im not sure what this CAM thing is all about. and if there is a certurn reader that you need to get. I managed to get a reader today from work but im not sure if this will would so if some one can take a look see.

OMNIKEY 3121 USB
http://www.hidglobal.com/prod_detail.php?prod_id=188

if any one could help with software that i would need to run this reader when putting card in that would be a big help. as i said its from work.

I am a sky customer so every thing is in working order.

it would mean so much to me if any one could help me out with how it is i go about making this work.

i have asked so many people but know one has answered me yet.

please help

Thank you for the reply but this still does not answer weather or not there are other things i need to by or weather the omnikey reader will work for me.

really i need a full on image of a set up and what goes where when setting up.

understanding what a CAM is would help as well sorry for sounding so nooby but this is my 1st time.

and i have read that thread before.

If you have a new white card then there is no solution at the moment - the cards arent working in any cams at all!
