My System: Sky HD Acer Revo Nettop PC Technomate Receiver
Question Satellite on my pc with diseq?

Hi all,

I currently have a Technomate receiver which I bought for my Italian wife so she could watch the Italian channels here in UK. I have had the setup for several years now, and it's been great.

I have just bought an Acer Revo nettop pc (supports HD). I was wondering if there is an external TV / satellite receiver I could buy which would take over the job of the Technomate receiver, so I would be able to record to an external hard drive connected to the PC's USB. When I originally bought my sat setup, I thought it might be a cool idea to get a motorised setup, which I did (I don't remember the make of the motor just now), but it never worked with the Technomate. It turned out there was some kind of incompatibility issues. The motor is still up there on my 80cm dish. Is there an external PC USB box that does diseq?

I'm not really what you would call a satellite enthusiast as most of you are, but I'd love to get it all working through the PC, and would be grateful for any advice you knowledgable people can dispense!

Thanks in advance,
Chris
