Unhappy Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2 problem

I have just bought a Hauppauge WinTV Nova HD S2 pc card.

I have tested it with a single LNB and a monoblock, with 5m of double screened cable straight through. It works fine on SD and HD.

However, DVB Dream and ProgDVB show the signal strength stuck on 100% and the signal quality stuck on 94%.

I have fiddled around for the last few days trying to find a cure.

Today I moved the card to a different PCI slot then installed the latest drivers and Win TV7, which were released yesterday by Hauppauge.

No change.

Does anyone know if there is a cure for this problem?

Is it a hardware defect?

Don't know about your problem with those applications, but I find DVBViewer works flawlessly with my Nova HD S2 card. Best to get the Pro version though, well worth the small outlay for the extras over the vanilla version.
