s2emu 1.7.3 and the latest k*y, shame but we've had a good run and there is still hope.

That's the right attitude... and in the famous and now legendary words of Moon... 'we must wait...'

My Sky dropped out last week for 3 days, then came back for a couple like nothing had happened, and now it's gone again.
Hope somebody can find a way around this - hope they've not locked us out for good...

Apparently, they have changed the nano51 handling, which has already been logically 'fixed'. Now a simple wait for the files...

I'll take your word for that BG my friend - a good coupla feet over my head, but it sounds nice

I've got the new key, and it's fixed something, but ProgDVB is freezing up my whole system after a few seconds on any S*y channel, so it looks like it's not quite right yet.
BTW, when I see 4 or 5 versions of the new S2emu on upload centres, are they all the same key, or is it worth me trying some others?

Zero, you can get it back, See Rod's post S*y Is Back and get yourself the new S2emu. I'm using it with my old key (not the one included in the S2 download)and it seems fine.

LOL, there is only one key which works at any one time, and it was not the key that changed. It was the processing of the key, which required the new .dll.

Anyway, who cares... it's BACK!

Thx Lucifer bro, but I've seen that post, got the new S2emu, but it still doesn't work. Fact is, I'm afraid to try it, cos when I try to update any Sky channel my whole box freezes up for a minute or two. I'll try it later, when I ain't got work to do

Check out Rod's post - you'll find a few versions of the new s2, but a couple of them were faulty zips...

All the old files should be fine, just need the .dll.

*** I read a great piece of advice earlier today - GET RID OF OTHER PLUG-INS - delete Fenrir and Yankse, use only s2emu - works like a dream ***
