My System: DM7020-S 88cm Triax Dish 1.8m Channel Master soon to be installed
Help again please

Hi

I have had to reinstall Win XP due to the problem as seen here:-

http://www.satellites.co.uk/php-bin/...ad.php?t=32301

The problem I have is that a Sat Man is due any moment to re-align me to 1W, so what I want to know is there a quick program I can install to see if I am locked on to 1W ?

Cheers 4 any help.

Not really, but he won't need that to re-align you if he knows what he's doing and has got a decent meter and/or FTA box, so don't panic. If he doesn't, then sack him.

What dish/setup have you got? Motorised? Where are you?

Hi djc,
if you've got access to an old analogue box then you could test it using the d2mac channels that are still left on Thor, if you get the scrambled d2mac showing up on TV3, then your dish is at least pointing in the right direction, even though you will be unable to test the signal strength.
TV3 11.341 V

I hope this is of some use.
