How can I test my aligned dish

Just had the dish re-aligned, but cant get any of the DVB programs to work for some reason.

Is there any other way to check to make sure its aligned properly ?

Keys have changed, so only two or three channels will open, but you should get a signal indication.

11421Mhz, 24.5Msps Horiz is Kiosk1 FTA, so try that.

Forget setup4PC as I don't think that it will find a data lock on 1W. Try MT 2.76 or ProgDVB, but the latter does stuggle with Kiosk for some reason.

R u saying that I won't be able to get any of the channels until a new key comes out ?

Hi mate - that's pretty much it. Although I hear that keys for that provider are coming through in matter of several hours rather than days or weeks at the moment.

In the interim, make sure your setup is peaked to max (i'm sure he was a professional but it is a Saturday afternoon and fairly cold in the UK)

And make sure your external eqpt is wintered properly (grease tape etc).

by the time that's done you can look again.
