Idiots guide to ezdvbXL skystar, and twinhan suported

This is a skinable viwer that looks like Windows Media Player

This software ONLY works on Win2k and Win XP machines.

1> download and install basic EZdvbXL http://www.hippo.ru/~sorgelig/EzDVBxl.v2.39.zip

2> create a softcam.key file with attached utility and place in root directory

3> register filters and double click sonic and sonicbob to register them.

4> start software scan and view all channels.

If you get "cannot initailise directshow playback" try one of the others on left hand of 2 buttons bottom right.

Gotta say, as far as Thor and the Kiosk channels are concerned on the Skystar 2, the EzDVBXL knocks the others into a cocked hat. I'm out tomorrow or Sunday morning to install the quad LNB on the dish, so that I can use the Hyundai for positioning, but use the Skystar 2 to watch the Thor transmissions.
