My System: None yet
Cool Help wanted to start setup

I would like to be able to view SKY (digital or plus) on a PC instead of using the normal SKY boxes then hook the PC up to a Plasma screen.
What do I need to purchase I currently have SKY+ and a normal digital receiver?

I am totally new to this so your help would be greatly appreciated.

My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

I can view Sky on my PC through my graphics card which has a UHF input. A number of plasma TVs have a D Sub input for PCs and I think I saw one with a DVI. Some PC graphic cards are DVI and TV out. I've never done what you want to do but maybe this would be a start for you.

If he were not a wizard, from head down to the root, you would have got to worry-your DB only boots

There is a box you can get to connect PC output to a TV, might have been on tvcables or cableuniverse

You'd better having Add-on cards like VP-DTV sat-CI, a PC card for DVB-S with CI slot and remote control and such add-on cards. They have also a digital audio output (S/PDIF) or go to www.sateuropa.co.uk
or you can find mor in what satellite and digital tv

Regards,

Arbie.
