My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | Is it doing S2 SI for you? Which viewer are you using? Not working here with MT V2.76. Seriously considering swapping over to ProgDVB now...

I'm afraid the time has come to give up my beloved MyTheatre V2.76. It is by far the most stable viewer application I've ever used on the PC, but having to run two decryption plugins at the same time has made it as flaky as everything else. Now using ProgDVB V4.52. I don't like it, but there you go. Scanning sats and setting up the DiSEqC configuration is sh!te, and it takes forever to change channel and startup and shut down. Also locks up for a few seconds on certain encrypted channels that were fine on MT V2.76. Been running DVBDream in parallel for a few months but I found it crashed on exit in various nasty ways plus IIRC it was nobbled WRT one of the providers. I know that there have been a few minor upgrades over the last few months, so if I can't live with ProgDVB, then I'll go shopping again.

By the way an unofficial s2emu 1.14.1 has been released which claims to solve TV C*bo problems.

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2 | Thanks m8. I've tried just about everything, including AltDVB, but that was a year or so ago. I just want a simple rock solid app, and I'm very demanding! Haven't tried Skyview yet, so I'll give that a go and then I guess it's just a case of revisiting all of the other rubbish to see if any of the developers have worked out how to debug and test their code properly. Grumpy old b@stard me eh?!? Just one of my pet hates, and the main reason I never programmed on these cr@ppy toys.

My System: skystar 1 + Motorised dish. | I have been using mytheatre v.3.25.1 and I am very pleased with it. It works with s2emu 1.14 and also works with the skystar 1 remote control, so when I am away from the pc I can switch channels using the skystar 1 remote . Channel scan is far way better than progDVB, (ProgDVB is a pain in the as* to scan for channels), and It have lots of useful options. Ok I have to agree, not everyone likes to pay for software when there are free alternatives like ProgDVB, but if a software is good, its worth every penny .
