My System: pci skystar 2 Pentium 2.6 1gig memory 40gig hd :-(
Encrypted tv

First of all hello to all this is my first post

I have read posts on the forum and been able to figure out most of my problems

I have a skystar 2
80cm Dish twin lnb
Pentium 2.6
1gig of memory
windows xp
using progdvb 4.71
Yankse-1-32.1-TT-XP

I am setup for astra 19 degrees east and hotbird 13 degrees east(twin lnb)

i can watch fta channel but not encrypted were do i put softcam is it c/programs/progdvb/plugins ?

I put it in the root directory
c:\progdvb\

but it should be fine in plugins

Tried that with no joy is the encryption diffrent for each channel or sat?

id drop the yanksee stuff (its a use that or s2emu)
remember in plugins to enable s2emu

you need
S2Emu 1.21
softkeys
both available from


h**p://www.dvbskystar.com/dvbindex.html

put both in the root file , run prog dvb , go to plugins enable s2emu and you should be away
