dvb-s card

Hi
I have just installed a Technotrend dvb-s card but dont get a dish until Monday. should the software still open as all I get is a message
"open device not successful,hardware disconnected" when I try to open the software.

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Should open without the LNB connected, have you installed the latest drivers from the Technotrend site?

Also perhaps try putting it in another PCI slot, it may not like the one you've allocated.

I have put the card in another slot, and downloaded and installed the new drivers but I still have the same problem. The card comes up as a
Siemens DVB card NDIS driver under the Network cards.
