My System: SKY HD, DVB-S thru media centre pc |
A sos request to save our sanity gents Today after a lot of fretting a Twinhan 1034 arrived with a manual a-b switch to install into my Sony XL-100 Media Centre Pc. Poped the car in , downloaded the latest drivers from Twinhams website and all seemed well, loaded up Twinhan's DTV viewing software setup the lnb hit scan and the pc switched off. Rebooted, and did the same thing again...... So decided to try a couple of other pieces of software like ProgDVB, Altdvb etc etc. The same thing happens when you try and scan with any software, device shows fine and drivers ok in Device Manager. I removed the a-b switch and wired the sat straight into the sat card and set as a fixed dish to see if that had any effect but alas still the same ![]() Before i go down the route of ripping the top off the media centre and launching the card into an inclined orbit is there anything obvious at the more knowledgeable amongst you can think of? Only other things as possible pointers are the media centre pc has a Avermedia DVB-T card installed in the slot below, no conflicts have shown within windows, and the cable plugged back into the S*Y HD box shows no probs and works fine. Its a single feed lnb on a motorised dish thats currently pointing at 28e. Thanks for reading and helping save my sanity

My System: [ Relook 250S ] | It could be that, I would bet my left nut but not today, your power supply unit isn't strong enough to pull all that weight and so the pc turns off.
