Skystar2 and V-Box II

Hi,

Did anybody manage to get Skystar 2 working with V-Box II?

I tried all the tutorials, drivers etc but I can't seem to control the V-Box via SS2...

Using the tutorial in the forum results in a Skystar2 init error, when I try to move my dish

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Regards

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

Have moved this olisun, as it is most likely to be a Skystar software/driver problem.

My System: PC with Pinnacle PCTV SatCI. DVB Dream viewer. Moteck VboxII positioner. Alba H-H SA58 Motor. 90cm Prime Focus dish on home made adjustable pole. Invacom 0.3dB LNB. Apart from the LNB, all put together embarassingly cheaply mainly thanks to fleabay!

Hi Olisun,

Probably not what you want to hear, and I know it doesn't answer your question, but have you tried just using the vbox as a positioner?

That's how I use mine, and yes, I know it's a cop out, but it's so eeeeeeeasy.......

I want to view Hotbird, I press 13..........
I want to view Hispasat, I press 30 etc etc....

I use it that way if I am in front of the receiver... but I sometimes watch tv from upstairs using my laptop and it's easier to be able to control the dish from Progdvb
