SkyStar2 broken? What do you think.

Well last night it took down my PC with a ks.sys blue screen.
Since it won't work properly, signal strengths seem normal but it's acting like its breaking up. DVBviewer and DVBdream I have tried and recorded also. It was very windy last night, but if it was the dish then signal strength would be affected..

Going to have to try reinstalling drivers, any other suggestions?

Reinstalling drivers worked. Very odd, event log has a load of these
The description for Event ID ( 54 ) in Source ( 3xHybrid ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .
at 2.48, then one of these:
A device driver is leaking locked I/O pages causing system degradation. The system has automatically enabled tracking code in order to try and catch the culprit.
Then a load more of the first 2 hours later, I think just before the crash. The BSOD I got was whining also about locked IO pages. 3xHybrid is the drivers for my DVB-T card though..... Terrestrial was down last night, everything but 1&2 analog.

Very wierd, looks like my DVB-T card took out my satellite drivers....

It's just done it again!

I put my other DVB card back in my system a while ago to see if it worked with DVBdream, it does but brings down my whole system with a BSOD when the card doesn't have a signal...

Anyway none of those crashes caused this problem, so tonight I took the s-video out from another PC I'm testing and plugged it into the capture s-video on my kworld card. Worked OK the first time when tooling about in BIOS, but when I open it up again in vlc while trying to boot a linux CD it went down with I think capture.sys error. Same thing again my Satellite doesn't work properly until I reinstall drivers.

Worked OK without crashing just now, waited til linux had booted before open vlc, but unlike BIOS was in B&W, any thats OT.
