My System: SkyStar 2 & ProgDVB
Help regarding ProgDVB, DVBDream, NCE Softcam and Sky Card!

Hey folks, hows it going?

I have a SkyStar 2 PCI card, SmartCard Phoenix card reader and a legitimate Sky viewing card.

I have connected everything to my computer and I downloaded ProgDVB and DVB Dream.

I also have the NCE SoftCam for decrypting my card.

All works fine in DVB Dream, I can see the channels no problem, however, it is very sluggish, sometimes refusing to initiate the card when I change channel, and is not very stable. I have altered directshow settings etc to no avail. If I try to use the SoftCam in the latest version of ProgDVB, it crashes. I have an older version of ProgDVB and the cam works fine but I can't get all the channels.

Is there another Softcam, for decrypting a Sky card, available? I've had a look and couldn't see anything!

Is there another Multi dec app available that I could try with my SoftCam. I have tried ALTDVB but when the card is being read the screen becomes pixelated.

I'm guessing I couldn't use Yankse with a skycard as it looks for the softcam.key?

Would I be able to extract the data from my Sky card and create a softcam.key thus allowing me to run Yankse from that?

Cheers for your help!
