Thumbs up can a valid skycard be copied by a card reader or programmer

Hi Folks,
Hope everone has a happy new year.
Just jioned and have a skybox showing all free to air channles but would like to ask if it is possible to copy a valid skycard with a programmer or card reader or if I use a motor on my dish is it possible to get the frequencies of the sky channels and get sky channels.

I hope this isn't too long.
