My System: aOpen MiniPc 2.16 Core Duo, 512Mb, rubbish graphics with TechnoTrend S2-3600
Any suggestions...

Before the end of January I intend to purchase a DVB-S2 Usb box was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I currently looking at http://www.,amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000GETVGO/shopzilcouk-computer-software-21/ref=nosim
but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?

Wanting to watch mainly BBC HD, but also intrested in channels on 13e and 19.2e. Hopefully the computer is powerfull enough(Core Duo 2.16) has to be USB as I have no PCI slots.

Bob.

Hi I have a SS2 usb box and unfortunately the usb box does not like the HD broadcasts, if you read thru some of the posts on here, you will find several comments about this, its dissapointing I know. Most of the users who are able to view the HD broadcasts are using the pc version. The usb box is ok for most other things, surf thru as many postings on this part of the forum as you can, there are hundreds of related links, which will help you in your information quest. Technisat have now released their new DVB-S2-HD card PC version only, whether they will bring out a USB version that will work in the same way is anyones guess, good luck.
