Does ProgDVB recognise the card OK ??, is ProgDVB showing a signal from the transponder?, also are the channels you are trying for, FTA ones or encrypted I wonder ?.

I've got an inferiority complex, but it's not a very good one.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

If you are in panama theres no chance whatsoever you are getting anything off any of the Astra 1's. You will be picking up one of the American birds out over the Pacific from your description of the dish. (We are EAST of you!)

Your dish won't be picking up the Astra satellites from where you are as you will be over the horizon and well out of footprint.

Have a look here and find a satellite that covers your region by clicking on the 'beam' column in the Ku frequency section.

Then select an FTA channel and scan the transponder.
