I have a question regarding receiving s*y on my pc I have a setup that can take a cam and asume that iam capable of getting it to work with correct cam, firmware etc.. Now when i have everything running with my viewing card in is it possible to remove card and carry on receiving picture? So card can go back in the box in living room. Cheers M0nster

Hi, I don't know for certain, buy I'm pretty sure taht as soon as you whip the card out the picture will go, that is what happens on my Sky box.

What CAM are you intending to use?

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Remove the card and lose the picture. There are no freebies with Sky!

My System: Nokia 9600S (NDT tuner) linked via RS232 to Echostar LT8700. Motorized 1.2m Echostar offset dish on polar mount with 12" 36V jack. Combined Ku feedhorn polarotor with Calamp WR75 0.8dBN quadband LNB. Skystar2 v2.3 via splitter.

You could use those wireless cams in a couple of non-sky boxes and thus receive 2 different channels at once from 1 card, a bit like sky+ does, or does that not work any more?
