Options with Nova S2 / fixed dish

Just bought a Nova S2 for my PC and started messing around with it but had a couple of questions. So far I have installed Power Cinema which came with the card which I didn't really like, and also got DVBViewer and ProgDVB which are both better (and ProgDVB is free!).

Read quite a lot on here, but all the technical talk is making my head spin!

So the questions I had were;

1) When I tell DVBViewer etc to search a particular satellite which ones can I actually pick up with the standard small dish (I also have $KY HD)?
2) What are my options for coupling the Nova with something, either software or hardware to use keys etc to receive other channels?

Thanks

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

All you will pick up on your Sky dish without moving it will be the free to air channels which are transmitted on that satellite Astra 28.2 _http://www.lyngsat.com/28east.html
