Smile Sky2PC and SS2.Are they the same ?

Hi Everyone,
I've just done a search for the Sky2PC card , only found the one thread which confirms that it will work with the likes of Mytheatre and ProgDVB , but can anybody tell me what differences there are between this card and the Skystar2 , and if possible where to get such things as drivers for XP.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Old Geezer,
I can only assume that they are one and the same.
I have recently acquired a skystar2, which comes complete with installation disk, and works fine with progdvb, and on XP.

My System: Dreambox 7000, Skystar2

Drivers and manuals for the Skystar 2 are available from the manufacturer website :- http://www.technisat.com/

Just go to the 'Service & Support' section.

The Sky2PC card looks (as you say) to be the same as the Skystar 2 card (they also have the USB version, like the 'Skystar USB'), but badged by the company B2C2 Inc, the manufacturers of the chipset used on the Technisat Skystar 2.

Could be wrong, but the physical resemblance is uncanny!

STICK

P.S. There are not enough hours in the day for me to correct MY spelling mistakes!
