My System: coship receiver 2000,Dreambox 500;2 ku3cband dishes of 2,4,6&8feet,amd 64 pc with 1GB ram usb tv tuner card

The footprint picture of the satellie _www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/pak1_north.html shows the signals do not reach to extreme south India,it seems the size of dish requires to be increased for C-band.

You are receiving the transponders from what we may call technically as fringe reception, generally vertical polarity is easier to get in case of fringe reception.

Fringe reception is roughly defined as unpredictable signal reception on the edge or even outside of the predicted footprint map

_http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/pak1_north.html

The area defined in blue or even outside of that area would be categorised as fringe reception, but of course fringe reception is also to some extent predetermined by your own dish size

Extremely difficult, here in Rajasthan 80% of the transponders are received. You are in Kerala, where the signal is almost dead, however,a bigger dish of 10 Ft.may enable you to find some transponder, that too not in a cosistent way.
